Certified Medical Assistant - $24.55/hour + No Weekends!

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.  

Position: Certified Medical Assistant  

Location: Honokaa, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $24.55/hour

Experience:  

1. Previous medical assistant/back office assistant experience preferred.
2. Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.

Education:

1. Medical Assistant Certification required.
2. Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8x5, 8:00am to 5:00pm or 4x10, 8:00am to 7:00pm

Job Description:  

1. Prioritize patient care and manage patient flow for maximum efficiency and optimum care provision.
2. Demonstrate appropriate utilization of the electronic medical record to document care within the nursing scope of practice.
3. Knowledge of ambulatory patient care, electronic medical record, and appropriate documentation.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
5. Ability to stay organized and work well with medical teams.
